The War on Christmas

The war on Christmas rages on, but the tide has turned this year finally. Thanks to media pundits like Bill O'Reilly and Christian leaders like Jerry Falwell, the pro - Christmas forces have landed on the beaches of Normandy and have established a bulk head. Practically all retailers have caved in and are using " Merry Christmas" instead of the vapid "Happy Holidays". This latter greeting was concocted out of thin air by the PC Left, whose main goal is put religion in the closet and deviant behavior in the public square. They cannot resist attacking traditional American values which are of course based upon Judeo - Christian principles. This PC crowd is so clueless they don't even realize that the word" holidays" is derived from the words "Holy Days." This war should have never occurred. The whole thing is beyond ridiculous, but that's the Left for you. Nevertheless, I'd like to wish all of you out there a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. For those of you who find this offensive, let me extend another type of seasons greeting - Go pound sand.
