An elderly Iraqi woman, Betty Dawisha, dips her arthritic right index finger into a container of ink as she deposits her ballot in the collection box with her left hand.

After having voted, she looks in the camera, and wagging her ink-stained finger for emphasis says: "Anybody who doesn't appreciate what America has done - and President Bush - let them go to hell!"
