Happy Birthday to Me!

A low-key birthday, with pizza and wings for dinner and birthday cake - decorated with personal faves Calvin & Hobbes - for dessert. It was an easy day at work - I was done in Syracuse by 10:30 (got an early start, after getting Dom, Em, and their friend Rose to CBA by 8) and spent some time at the mall. In addition to the book I mentioned in the last post, I picked up calendars for Dom (Jeopardy!), Emmy (Shop-a-holic), and Angela (Mary Engelbreit).

The loot for making it to 42: Spiderman 2 on DVD, a Vanderbilt golf shirt (which complements the Vanderbilt golf set I got from Santa Claus), a few game books, some other goodies from the Cleveland branch of the family, and the piece de resistance from Emmy: a bright red tie embroidered with Rocky & Bullwinkle!
