Live blogging the second half

I have my laptop, the kids have lost interest, and I am alone on the couch in the basement with the big screen, so why not? (Emmy is across the room on the desktop computer)

Good play call on first down, good throw by Big Ben - just dropped by Hines Ward.

Emmy just asked how the game is going, just in time for Willie Parker's 75-yard jaunt. That could be a killer, or maybe the prelude to a big scoring 2nd half. I hope it's the latter.

Comments on the first half ads:

Dom picked Whopperettes and the Bud Light "Magic Fridge" as the two best. I liked them, as well as the FedEx prehistoric spot. Dove's self-esteem ads are weak.

Movie ads during the SB are not a good idea - I am waiting for the new, exciting, entertaining ads, and then when it is clear that it is a movie ad, I ignore it. If others react as I do, that's a lot of money for an ignored ad.
