Ralph Rocks the Hard Rock Hotel

Mom, Ralph, Elaine (my good friend) and I headed down to the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL last night for an evening of fun, food and gambling. Though not on a par with Las Vegas, this large, white, castle-like hotel offers so much more than just a good slot machine. There are upscale, yet reasonably-priced eateries; musical theaters (where you can catch incredible impersonators in the show "Legends," or see "real" rockers....Meatloaf was a recent attraction) and a Seminole arena, where you can watch some crazy humans wrestle with some very hungry (and rather imposing) gators. Unfortunately, due to the chilly temps, no gators were up for performing last night.

Ralph's winnings were well over $100, mostly playing the "Wheel of Fortune" machine. And I suspect he rather enjoyed chatting with my friend Elaine, a very pretty blonde who resembles Christina Applegate. A good time was had by all!
