TGS Mobile - lookin' good!
This one would make it for World Series champs - alas, not for Super Bowl champs!
I like the TGS cell phone look! I presume that the "short" pages with images would appear en toto, while the longer pages with text (4, 6, 7) would be scrollable text. It is hard to capture the "feel" of having this on the cell while viewing it on a web browser. PS: Thanks for another mention in this week's TGS!
I agree with TGS on the pick and the reasoning for the pick. It is hard not to take the 4 points and the Seahawks, although I think this one is a genuine toss-up (which might only reflect my lack of familiarity with the teams). However, on basic priniciples, you have to go with the Seahawks as a bettor. For your sake, I hope the Seahawks cover, Bruce, but I will be pulling for the Steelers. Here's to a 31-28 Steelers victory in 2 OTs!
The only Super Bowl that I can remember not knowing for whom I would be pulling right up until game time was the St. Louis-Tennessee game. I was torn by my love of Nashville and my friends who still lived there, versus my love of Dick Vermeil and my hope that he would hoist the Lombardi Trophy. It was really weird, but as kickoff approached, my feelings resolved firmly in favor of the Rams and Vermeil. And now that he has retired (I am sure, this time, for good), I am glad that he got that win.
On the stadium quiz, I must admit that I reversed Washington and Denver! I didn't know for sure which stadium had the greatest capacity, but I guessed it was Mile High/Invesco. I couldn't tell from the photos themselves on those two, while the photos alone made for easy calls on many of them.
Maybe some day!
